When vehicle speed 15 km/h (9 mph), wheel speed 6 km/h (4 mph).

At vehicle speed of 45 km/h (28 mph) or more, open in sensor harness occurs intermittently for 0.2 seconds or more.

When vehicle speed between 10 km/h (6 mph) and 15 km/h (9 mph) for 3 minutes, one wheel speed 0 km/h (0 mph).
-
Pressure reduction mode of ABS system lasts for 28 seconds or more.
-
When vehicle driven at speed of 20 km/h (12 mph) or more, difference between wheel speeds indicated by two sensors occurs twice or more for 30 seconds or more.

READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (REAR SPEED SENSOR)
|
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(c) Select the Data List mode on the Techstream.

There is a tolerance of +/-10% in the speedometer indication.

CHECK REAR SPEED SENSOR INSTALLATION
|
|
(a) Check that the speed sensor installation bolt is tightened properly.
Torque:
11 N*m (107 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf)
OK:
The installation bolt is tightened properly.

CHECK REAR SPEED SENSOR
|
(a) Visually check the speed sensor for deformation and damage.
OK:
No deformation or damage.
There is no gap between the sensor and rear axle carrier.

CHECK SPEED SENSOR TIP
|
(a) Remove the speed sensor
.
(b) Check the sensor tip.
OK:
No scratches or foreign matter on the sensor tip.

7.
|
CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL ECU - REAR SPEED SENSOR)
|
|
(a) Confirm that the skid control ECU connector and speed sensor connector are properly connected.
|
(b) Disconnect the A19 ECU connector.
(c) Disconnect the z5 and z6 sensor connectors.
(d) Inspect both the connector case and the terminal for deformation and corrosion.
OK:
No deformation or corrosion.
(e) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
